Ken Rogers was just about raised as a commercial real estate specialist, influenced at an early age by his father’s choice of commercial real estate as a primary investment tool. Ken and his wife, Pamela, joke that they’ve been running Horizon Resources, Inc. for about a hundred years—and although it hasn’t quite been that long, the company has built quite a reputation since 1971 as San Diego County’s premier commercial real estate resource.
That longevity makes Horizon uniquely qualified to work with tenants, owners, buyers, and investors since Ken and his team have an in-depth understanding of the challenges presented by San Diego’s ever-evolving real estate market. As a native San Diegan, Ken’s heart is in America’s Finest City, but Horizon Resources also has an office in Memphis, TN and has a long history in commercial real estate in the greater Phoenix, AZ area.

Meet the Team
Ken Rogers, President
After running large real estate syndication and stock brokerage firms, Ken decided to return to his roots when he founded Horizon Resources. A small company by design, its size enables Ken to provide hands-on service to current and would-be commercial property owners and tenants. On any given day, he may be showing properties, researching new listings, helping the property management team, working with the maintenance department or doing something else to benefit clients—using the expertise he’s gained over 40+ years in every facet of the commercial real estate industry.
Pamela Rogers, Vice President—Finance
Pamela’s “take charge” personality and entrepreneurial background have been huge assets as she’s partnered with Ken, professionally and personally, for more than 30 years. She’s done it all with respect to commercial real estate—including sales, leasing and management—and today she provides controller/CFO services at Horizon Resources. Pamela is the keeper of the company checkbook and her keen oversight ensures the accuracy of its financials.
David Morris, Director of Sales and Leasing
David has over 35 years of experience in business, including private club management, construction and sales. After a long and successful career in private club management, where he earned two distinguished accreditation’s and organized and managed two national conferences, Dave decided to turn a new page. After passing the California State Realtors exam, he joined the team at Horizon Resources. As an agent, he has focused his attention to San Diego County and Temecula Valley where he lives with his wife, Holly. Dave brings his years of experience and business knowledge to serving his customers. Exceptional customer service has always been his focus and that has continued in his commercial real estate sales career.
Cathryn Flynn, Sales and Leasing
With over 15 years in property management and retail management, Cathryn comes to Horizon Resources well equipped for commercial sales. As a west coast native, and originally from the Pacific Northwest, Cathryn made both a lifestyle move and a career move down to the sunnier end of the west coast. Providing dedicated customer service to her commercial real estate clients is second nature to Cathryn, and her previous several years of experience in banking and finance are proving a valuable tool when matching her client’s needs with their financial goals. Her infectious smile and keen eye for strategy are a welcome addition to our team here at Horizon, as well as her golf team.
Nehal Wadhwa, Sales & Leasing
Nehal Wadhwa brings more than 20 years of experience in real estate, process management, business operations and medical practice management to her clients. This combination of expertise in operations and real estate makes her uniquely qualified to help navigate the real estate landscape for business owners and professionals looking for the perfect space to suit their needs.
Her experience in operations includes a wide range of projects across various industries, including healthcare, finance, oil and gas, warehousing and distribution. She has been responsible for increasing productivity, managing expansion and growth, implementing strategic initiatives, managing referral patterns and developing partnerships. Through these experiences, Nehal has gained a valuable understanding of how real estate decisions are vitally important to the success of her clients’ businesses.
Adrienne Wood, Director of Operations
Adrienne graduated with honors from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. She has almost 20 years of experience managing corporate business operations with over a decade of that experience gained in the real estate industry. Adrienne’s attention to detail and ability to effectively oversee all aspects of the company make her a valued asset to Horizon Resources. When she’s not in the office, Adrienne enjoys spending quality time with her husband and three children.
Lorenzo Lopez, Landscape Superintendent
Having spent 20 years working in the landscape sector for a national company, Lorenzo has gained the practical knowledge to successfully run our landscape division. He is certified in Irrigation Systems and Repairs, Recycled Water Systems, CLT and is C-27 certified as a Landscaping Contractor. Lorenzo is responsible for supervising the landscape crews, managing the ongoing training and safety programs as well as overseeing proper equipment usage. He is also highly skilled in determining the fertilization and chemical needs of all types of landscape to ensure the highest quality horticultural practices. Lorenzo has been married for 16 years to his wife, Magaly, and they have been blessed with four children who keep them busy with school and sports. His family enjoys road trips, camping and baseball.
